Englewood is a lovely town in Ohio that is perfect for families or those who just enjoy a slower pace.  Convenient to Dayton, it is certainly not rural but is also definitely an urban environment. With right around 14,000 residents, it is small enough to feel like a community without feeling like you are living in the middle of nowhere. This community is filled with sunshine and warm breezes in the spring and summer and fallen leaves and snow in autumn and winter. You will be wearing swimsuits and flip flops one month and bundled up just a little later on.

This part of the world is full of great family fun and you will find that there is a ton to do for the outdoor enthusiast. There is an absolute plethora of fun activities in the area where you can enjoy nature. Nearby State Parks include: Lake Loramie, Kiser Lake, Indian Lake, and Grand Lake St Mary’s – all of which are great spots for hiking, biking, boating and the like. In the warm summer months, there is a lot to do in the water… such as swimming, fishing and boating. In the winter, these parks offer spectacular vistas and, in the spring, go for a hike and bear witness as nature surfaces and comes alive.

You want events?  There are events galore! In the nearby town of Piqua, there is the Taste of The Arts held each year in May as well a “Christmas on The Green” each winter.  In addition, the annual Country Concert is held in nearby Newport, Ohio each summer and there are lots of national stars gracing the stage each year.  During the fall season, the adjacent town of Sidney  erects an enormous corn maze which offers wholesome fun for the whole family.  Every season, every age, every interest… there is always something to do!
